PIANTINO This type of shaft is characterised by the shaft and handle being one and the same thing, a single piece of wood. We can produce it in various sizes and types of wood: chestnut, ash, cherry, beech, maple. It is also possible to proceed with personalisation (e.g. initials) by means of a nameplate or with engraving directly on wood.

The frame is the supporting structure of the umbrella and must be strong but flexible in order to withstand the weather.

The long shaft can be:

in wood (beech, chestnut, cherry, ash and oak) with 14 or 16 mm diameter

steel (c12, strong steel, fiberglass) with diameter 10, 12 or 14 mm

Italian-made nickel-plated iron with 10, 12 or 14 mm diameter

It is possible to choose a frame with 8, 10, 12 or 16 ribs, which can be black, gold or nickel-plated; accessories such as runner, double notch and ferrule can also be made of plastic or metal according to the customer's wishes.
